In case you were wondering...

My name is Mia Kraft.

I am a 24-year-old Midwestern woman (ew at the word woman I am 18 at heart) who lives in the Windy City. I love to travel, spend time with friends and family, try new restaurants and recipes, see live music, scroll TikTok, and a lot of what you'd expect a Gen Z girl would enjoy. I live with my boyfriend (another ew word) and our beautiful 5-month-old Golden Retriever. I'm a graphic designer and creator, lover of art and film, and avid reader, and I'm finally trying my hand at writing with this new blog.

If you're reading this, you're either my friend or a family member (awkward, please forget everything you saw), someone I've crossed paths with before (hi omg so sweet that you care what I'm up to, hope you're doing great), or you have no idea who I am (target audience, welcome, slay). Whomever you are, wherever you are, I appreciate you taking the time to be here.

Candidly, I have no plan for this blog. As of right now, I'm calling it "Mia's Thoughts" and am planning to share just that. My thoughts, decently unfiltered, about whatever may come to mind. It might be my favorite Chicago spots. It might be a review for a book, movie, or TV show. Sharing struggles or successes. A rant about love or life. Maybe journal is a better word for this than blog...?
